Universal Studios Florida - 2022

I was excited for our visit to Universal Studios Florida! My boyfriend would finally understand why I liked Universal Studios Hollywood but loved Universal Studios Florida.

Our visit to Universal Studios Florida was purchased with the park hopper because you need that to enjoy the Wizarding World of Harry Potter! With the park hopper you can ride the Hogwarts Express from King's Cross Station (found in Universal Studios FL Park) to Hogsmeade (found in Universal Islands of Adventure Park ), which is a must!

TRANSPORTATION

We wanted to arrive early to the park, unfortunately my health did not allow that, and we didn't arrive to the park until 12pm via Lyft. The weather for the day was going to be full of rain showers throughout the day.

EXPRESS PASS

Because of the late arrival to the park and my health I didn't want to wait in line for rides so I purchased the Express Pass. This was my first time purchasing this and I DO NOT REGRET IT! I now RECOMMEND IT to anyone checking the park specially on a Holiday week/end! We were there for 4th of July Holiday weekend.

I paid $489.88 for the both of us. I purchased the 2 Park Universal Express Unlimited Pass for one day.

The original plan was that we would park hop both days at Universal Studios, but with my health & holiday crowds I figured it would be best that we at least "expressed" it one day. This way we could aim to do as many rides as we could the first day (07/03/22), and the second day (07/04/22) we could just focus on the ones we couldn't get to on the previous day.

The salesperson also explained to me that the only rides that were not a part of the Express Pass were Hagrid's Magical Creature Motorbike Ride and Jurassic World VelociCoaster. Both these rides can be found in Islands of Adventure Park. These were the new rides, so it was expected and with the pass It paid off! We did majority of the rides on the first day (07/03/22) and the next day (07/04/22) we focused on getting on these two rides.

RIDES/ENTERTAINMENT

We started at Universal Studios Orlando/Florida Park (USF):

• Hollywood Rip Ride Rock-it

• Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon

• Fast & Furious – Supercharged

• Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts

• Men In Black Alien Attack

• E.T. Adventure

Went on the:

1. Hogwarts Express through King's Cross Station

   2. And we were on our way to Hogsmeade Station (Islands of Adventure)!

Now we were in Universal Islands of Adventure (UIA):

• Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey

• Flight of the Hippogriff

• The Incredible Hulk Coaster

• The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man

• Skull Island: Reign of Kong

• Jurassic Park River Adventure

FOOD/SNACKS

I wasn't hungry during our visit, but I did have to eat to take my over-the-counter medicine.

• Breakfast was at our hotel (Disney All Star)

• Lunch was in New York (USF), we had Pizza

  • We sat in the park and ate as we got it from a food cart

• Beer at Hog's Head when we arrived to Hogsmeade

• Dinner was back at the hotel

I was so focused on trying to make it through the day I didn't take photos of any of our food or drink items. -_-

SUMMARY

We left the park at 10pm, caught our Lyft at 10:30pm, and were back at our hotel around 11:20 pm. Considering that I was not at 100%, we managed to do a whole lot of rides, and had fun! If I'm honest, I had more fun watching my boyfriend have fun and enjoy Universal Studios! I would love to return and to enjoy the parks in good health, it makes a difference!
