Universal Islands of Adventure - 2022

On our visit to Universal Islands of Adventure we were preparing for the crowds, after all it was 4th of July! I still wasn't feeling good, but I was managing to push through!
We decided to start the day with Universal Islands of Adventure (UIA) since we had started the previous day at Universal Studios Florida (USF). But the TWO rides that we really wanted to check out and could not do it through the Express Pass were in this park.
TRANSPORTATION
We didn't arrive to the park until 12pm and the park opened at 9am. It was hard for me to wake up, but I managed and made it happen! LOL
RIDES/ENTERTAINMENT
Thanks to our Express Pass from the previous day, we didn't feel any pressure on running around the park/s. We knew we had ALL Day to get to the rides we missed and really wanted to check out.
We were able to ride each one of them TWICE!
First, we tackled the VelociCoaster. We were prepared to wait (the most) 2 hours (where else did we have to be?), but when we got there it said that the wait was 45 min and it was! We were surprised and ecstatic. Let me just say, THIS RIDE was AMAZING!!! Loved it!
After that we headed over to Hagrid's Motorbike Ride to make the long line. We had the same mental thought here, we were prepared to wait (the most) 2 hrs. We arrived & the screen said the wait was 90 minutes but we actually waited 40 min and where on the ride!
Because it was a quick wait, we decided to get back in line immediately and switch seats to get the FULL experience. This time we did wait about 70 min, but still worth it! We had nowhere to be!
The first time, I rode on the motorbike and my bf on the companion seat.
The second time, I rode in the companion seat and my boyfriend on the motorbike
We both agreed that the best seat is the Motorbike!
We both agreed that we needed to ride the VelociCoaster one more time and we did. This time we did wait a little longer than the first time, we waited about 70 min but still worth it. It moved along and it also helps that there was a lot to observe while we waited.
LUNCH
We decided to eat at Doc Sugre's Desert Kebab House. It was quick, easy, delicious and under some shade. We had:

Greek Salad
No photos. I was just trying to eat and get to Hagrid's Motorbike Ride. We decided to have lunch after we rode the VelociCoaster the first time.
SUMMARY
Yes, we only rode two rides that day. Like I said, it was 4th of July, it was hot, I was sick, and we had already done all the rides we wanted the previous day. I wanted to ride the Hogwarts Express one more time but the wait without the Express Pass was 90 min! Nah, I was good so we stayed in UIA!
After VelociCoaster we walked around the park to check the shops out and did some shopping. After that we headed to Universal CityWalk to walk and shop around there to and headed back to our hotel around 8pm hoping to catch some type of 4th of July Celebration at Downtown Disney Springs (they had nothing -_-). Overall, it was a GREAT day considering it was 4th of July, but we both agree that we need to return!
